June 1, 2000 --DELTA MAX announced today that the Business Needs Requirement Analysis for two progressive firms have been completed and presented to the clients. In both cases, the Projects were to analyze and present the Business Needs, Alternatives available, recommended solutions, detailed E-Commerce project implementation and action plans to client top executives for their follow on actions.
Nutritional Products Firm
An industry-leading nutritional products company in Orange County had a variety of issues and concerns typical of a fast growing and dynamic firm in a highly competitive industry.
With multiple product lines, sales forces, and merger and acquisition plans, the company had to have a cogent and cost-effective plan developed within a very short time frame, yet one which would address all their issues and concerns in a flexible fashion. This company's environment included a very complex Channel conflict situation which could have inhibited the E-Channel rollout, but which was resolved by the Business Needs Assessment Analysis plan recommendations. Together with DELTA MAX, this company met their project deadlines and with our recommended partner-associate, has begun implementing the plan's recommendations in a strategic rollout of its new E-Commerce capabilities.
Computer Peripheral Products: Specialty Crafts Spin Off
A separate division of a very well-known computer peripheral products company in Los Angeles County was interested in developing an E-Commerce site to provide a source community of potential crafts products and services interests, with the idea that the community focus would bring together crafters with similar interests and potential buyers of similar projects. The company would act as the community developer and interface from craft project and kit developers to the community's buyers, and the exchange would be done on-line.
DELTA MAX was engaged as a sub-contractor to evaluate the company's E-Commerce plan in depth, and produced a detailed and comprehensive analysis which allowed the client to correctly position this project with the rest of the company's initiatives. Our analysis demonstrated the actual amount of investment and the likely profit profile such a project would entail, and this was presented to the client executives, who subsequently executed our recommendations as presented.
