Business & Organizational
Continuance
The horrible events of September 11, 2001 have not left our minds, and likely never will.
Such mind-numbing disasters,
particularly a deliberate and unprovoked attack,
have a way of staying with someone forever.
On 9/11/2001, we all were
Americans, and New Yorkers, together.
Strangely, out of such ghastly events often ultimately come good things, amidst all the pain and suffering.
These normally do not justify the event, or mitigate to any great degree, any of the severe personal losses.
But, they can and often do cause a new resolve to arise. A new conviction and validation of fundamental issues of beliefs.
And a slow realization that such events have not gone by without their educational effects and increased awareness remaining.
We learn from them, the hard way. Any way we can. Or, we are doomed to repeat them.
One effect is the understanding by all organizations that they must be prepared not only for the unexpected, but the unimaginable.
We understand anew that the many benefits we enjoy in America have been hard earned through sacrifice and dedication.
Many of us believe those benefits derive from Rights which are divinely granted, as is stated in the Declaration of Independence.
We all know, whatever our political beliefs, that we must be ever vigilant, and protect those Rights and benefits completely.
In that spirit, DELTA MAX has developed and expanded its Business Continuance Services to include:
\|
Complete Facility Disaster Planning
|
Preparation of a Dynamic and Upgradable Recovery Plan and Procedure
|
Disaster Dry Run Simulation Planning and Execution
|
Preparation of Supporting Plan Presentations to Employees and Institutions. |
We hope and pray that another September 11 will not happen.
And we commit to helping our clients prepare for any disasters to the best of our professional abilities and with all our dedication.
What has to be done to prepare for any disaster ...
Business Continuance is far more than replication of computer files into a remote system, and being able to get them back on line quickly.
That is the relatively EASY problem.
The HARD Problems include:
|
Maintaining Revenue streams and keeping business operations intact.
|
Immediate and professional customer/client/user contact establishment and re-assurance of continued operation.
|
Making sure the staff personnel know what to do and who to contact when they arrive at the building, and it is no longer there.
|
Reproducing any paper and other media documents lost or destroyed in the fire/earthquake/flood/tornado/explosion, etc.
|
Providing a work place for your people while the facility is being repaired or replaced.
|
Designing a Procedures Manual which is ready to go when disaster occurs, updated and familiar.
|
Designing and activating a web site which is updated continually with the latest information and directions.
|
Ensuring that all HR state and local Assessment are being met.
|
Numerous other issues and problems unique to your organization and its needs and operations. |
DELTA
MAX can work closely with you
to be
ready.
Nobody can predict, but we all can prepare.
If you need a Continuance Plan which has been designed thoroughly and test executed completely, contact us.
We can help you put a good one either with a broad or narrow scope together, for a reasonable cost.
We can also suggest many cost offsets to the Disaster expenses and preparations themselves.
These, when done in advance, can mitigate or even totally offset the sudden large expenses.
It's clear that the world has changed, and we all have to prepare for it.
Even though we did not seek it, we cannot avoid it.
Contact us if you need any assistance.
