Delta Max President @ Digital Hollywood 2000
Los Angeles, California
March, 2000 -- "The Future is looking digital", said Robert Swanson, President of DELTA MAX at the annual Digital Convergence with Hollywood Content conference at this key industry event. "And, it's looking good!"
"Digital production of all kind is booming", Swanson continued. "And, High Definition is right around the corner. Movies are not only being augmented with digital post production cgi and F/X, they are also now being shot in digital from the gitgo. Even the normal telecine conversion process is now completely digital, and days of cell animation are virtually gone. We can expect to see complete features shot with cgi characters in addition, and the real question will be "can they act"? Most pros feel that once the digital spectrum reaches a certain level, that the movie experience will be expanded substantially, in higher production quality and lower delivery costs of images, to whatever platform the customer may want to receive and watch it."
Many Hollywood film and video professionals heard Swanson describe the newest digital methodologies at Digital Hollywood, fast becoming a major new forum for the convergence of content and computers.
Robert Swanson is President of DELTA MAX, and the originator of the term "E-Channel", which describes the newest electronic interfaces of corporations to customers and prospects over the web.
