August 2000 -- DELTA MAX announced today that the Business Needs Requirement Analysis for an industry leading natural gas equipment manufacturer and distributor has been completed and presented to the client.
This is believed to be the first such E-commerce project in the conservative natural gas distribution industry, and one which will have world wide industry attention as it comes to fruition via deployment and rollout. The Projects analyzed and presented the Business Needs, Alternatives available, and recommended solutions, along with a detailed E-Commerce project implementation and departmental action plan for a new industry concept of sales and service. The summary plan was then presented to client top executives for their follow on actions.
The client firm, an industry-leading manufacturer and employer in Riverside County, was facing the traditional gas industry customer profile dilemma of a relatively few national clients with slow growth rates tied to housing starts, and was searching for a way to expand their operations by an order of magnitude.
The DELTA MAX Business Needs Assessment Analysis organized their E-Commerce marketing and new business development plans by market segment and developed E-Commerce profiles and rollouts for each segment in a cost-effective strategy. The company's outstanding customer relationships were to be maintained and enhanced by their new E-Channel, and several new services to the industry are planned to be brought on-line under the DELTA MAX plan.
The client and their computer software and hardware vendors have begun implementing the plan's recommendations in a strategic rollout of its new E-Commerce capabilities.
